šŸ„’ From Pickles to Pickleball (Hear Me Out…)

Hey there, Reader!

Fun fact about me: I don’t actually play pickleball… but I do love pickles. I’ve even frozen pickle juice into popsicles (don’t knock it ā€˜til you’ve tried it).

So when a client of mine—who does live and breathe pickleball—offered to host a group trip in 2026, I couldn’t resist. Because even if I’m not swinging a paddle, I know how to bring together epic travel experiences (and maybe a jar of pickles, too).

Here’s the exciting part:

✨ Pickleball in Paradise — mornings on the court with world-class coaching, afternoons by the beach or pool, evenings with new friends.
✨ Or… Pickleball at Sea — sailing the Caribbean, playing on deck, and exploring tropical ports of call in between.

Your coaches would be none other than:

  • Erica Love — 5.0 player, US Open Medalist, Head Coach of the Sarasota Manatees, and strategy mastermind on the court.
  • Heather Babb — former collegiate volleyball player, CrossFit coach, and now a powerhouse pickleball coach helping players level up with skill, strength, and fun.

Now I need your input:

šŸ‘‰ Would you be interested in joining a Pickleball Escape in 2026?

  • Yes, I’m in!
  • Maybe, tell me more…
  • Not for me, but sounds awesome.

Just hit reply and let me know.

Hey, I’m Jen Maki—curator of epic escapes, group trip guru, and the sassy soul behind Divine Destinations. When the world hit pause in 2020 and travel was deemed ā€œnonessential,ā€ I called BS and booked it—literally. I packed my laptop, grabbed my SPF, and set out to prove that not only is travel essential... it’s how we come alive. Now, I slow-travel the globe while designing unforgettable itineraries for clients who want more than cookie-cutter trips. From honeymoons to safaris, river cruises to girls’ getaways, I make big dreams feel effortless. My superpower? Turning ā€œsomedayā€ vacations into booked-and-blessed realities—without the stress. If you’re ready to stop overthinking and start exploring, you’ve found your travel person. Let’s go there. šŸŒāœˆļø

PS:
Here are a few of my favorite things…

Most people know me for travel… but here’s my guilty pleasure: I love pickles. Like, love-love. If there’s a way to sneak one in, I’ll do it. Dill pickles on pizza? Yes. Pickle beer? Absolutely. Minced pickles in tartar sauce or potato salad? Always. And don't even get me started on my adoration for dill pickle chips!

Pickles just make life crunchier, tangier, and way more fun—kind of like travel. šŸ˜‰
